Climb Mount Vesuvius for panoramic views from the summit and explore the fascinating coastline of the Amalfi Peninsula on foot, or walk through the beautiful rolling Puglia countryside to discover charming villages.

Walks are along well-trodden footpaths, turf roads, rocky coastal trails and quiet country backroads, with good straightforward conditions underfoot. Although moderate, some walks do include sections of ascent and descent over hilly terrain and you should have a reasonable level of fitness to get the most out of your trip. Accommodation is in comfortable three star and four star hotels with en suite facilities.

The best time to visit Italy is March to June, and September to October, in order to avoid the summer heat. May is a great month to visit the Amalfi Coast, with warm temperatures, few tourists and spring flowers in bloom. September to October is when many vineyards begin harvesting their grapes and is a good time to visit.
