Stretching a staggering 4,000 kilometres north to south, and only 180 kilometres wide, Chile’s climate and habitats are as remarkable and varied as its topography! In the south, spanning Chile and Argentina, are the towering granite peaks of Torres del Paine National Park and windswept island of Tierra del Fuego.

In Chilean Patagonia, hike along trails (up to 2,500 metres in altitude) in the stunning Torres del Paine National Park, spend time in Punta Arenas and Ushuaia, enjoy boat trips in the Magellan Straits and on the Beagle Channel and hike along easy trails in Tierra del Fuego’s woodland and coastal stretches.

We use a combination of hotels and guesthouses, and recommend travelling during the Austral summer, ideally between November and March.
