Laos is the only land-locked country in South-east Asia and its landscape is comprised of thickly forested mountains, plains and plateaux. Whilst tourism is increasing, Laos is still well off the beaten track.
On a gentle cruise from Chiang Kong down the Mekong River – which flows along much of its western border with Thailand – you will pass traditional villages, waterfalls, bamboo forests and spectacular limestone scenery. Our walks in Laos include a village visit, visits to temples and caves.
