Discover More About Morocco
Discover timeless mountain villages and the less-trekked areas of the Atlas Mountains, experience friendly Berber hospitality and culture, explore the exotic and bustling souks of Marrakech. Trek through lunar landscapes, fertile valleys and spectacular canyons and visit crumbling kasbahs and ksars including the magnificent Ait Benhaddou.
We offer a variety of trekking holidays in this vibrant country, ranging from moderate to strenuous, to suit all levels of experience and fitness. Walks are on mountain trails and sometimes wide piste tracks with ascent and descent. Conditions underfoot are usually straightforward, and are dry, stony and dusty. Accommodation includes mountain refuges and lodges, gîtes, riads, hotels and tents.
The High Atlas Mountains are a year-round trekking destination, although weather varies according to season. The best time of year to travel is from April to June and September to November, in order to avoid the scorching summer heat and cold winter temperatures.
