Discover More About Cambodia
Cambodia is a Buddhist country situated in South-east Asia, and shares borders with Thailand and Laos. Having achieved independence in 1953, its monarchy was restored in 1993, after which a steady stream of adventurous tourists began to visit this little-explored land.
Cambodia is still well off-the-beaten-tourist-track, and we are delighted to offer a walking holiday with a varied itinerary including hikes along trails in the Virachey National Park, located on the country’s north-eastern border. Virachey’s deep forests are largely unexplored and walking routes pass through mountainous areas with waterfalls, and jungle which is home to an interesting variety of wildlife.
The Angkor Wat Temple Complex is one of the largest religious monuments in the world, and our walking holiday to Cambodia visits this superb site, which includes such highlights as the Temple of Bayon and the Terrace of Elephants.
