Discover More About Bosnia & Herzegovina
Positioned in the Balkan Peninsula, Bosnia and Herzegovina shares borders with Serbia to the east, Montenegro to the south-east, Croatia to the north and south-west, and a 20-kilometre-long coastline along the Adriatic Sea to the south.
In the heart of Bosnia lies a section of the Dinaric Alps (also known as the Dinarides), a mountain range that extends approximately 700 to 1,000 kilometres, forming a rugged limestone mountain range situated along the Adriatic coast in the Western Balkans.
This spectacular Balkan country provides the opportunity to follow established hiking trails between characterful Balkan villages, in the shadows of the Vito Peak, Mount Maglić and Lebersnik Mountain.
We use small, characterful family run hotels, and recommend travelling during late Spring and Autumn, when the walking conditions are at their best.
