Located around 1,000 kilometres from Portugal is the remote and diverse island of Madeira. Its varied landscapes are mainly formed through years of volcanic activity, and there's a rich history and culture to be discovered.
Madeira has a network of hiking trails covering hundreds of kilometres, ranging from leisurely walks to more demanding hikes. The unique levada trails are historic water channels which run across the island and one of the main pathways.
On our tour, you explore the north and east of the island with a variety of hikes, whilst staying in comfortable hotels. The trip is available throughout the year, as the climate of the island welcomes year-round tourism.
