Discover More About Slovenia
Bordered by Hungary, Croatia, Austria and Italy, Slovenia lies in the heart of Europe, where east meets west, and the Alps meet the Mediterranean. Predominantly mountainous and with much of the country covered in thick forests, Slovenia boasts some of the continent’s most unspoiled scenery.
The Julian Alps and Lake Bohinj in the north-west are particularly scenic, with forests, meadows and a rich flora – the latter celebrated by an annual International Wildflower Festival.
Our walks explore pastures, rivers, emerald green lakes, forests and meadows, Mostnica Gorge and Triglav National Park, and we offer a variety of different trails of varying difficulty for you to choose from.
We recommend travelling from late spring to early autumn.
