All Holiday Types

We offer group and self-guided walking and trekking holidays to suit a wide variety of interests, from culinary, natural history and culturally focused trips to hiking along the world’s classic walking routes, scenic coastlines, or donning snowshoes to explore snowy landscapes.

Guided Group

A guided group walking holiday is an ideal option for those wanting to join a small, informal group of like-minded walkers and enjoy some of the world's best trekking. Choose from a variety of departure dates.

Most of our walking holidays can be organised as a private-guided departure, offering couples or groups of friends a more flexible option to travel together and enjoy unique experiences along the way.

Our range of self-guided walking holidays offer a flexible option for experienced walkers. Often great value for money, this type of trip allows you to walk at your own pace and enjoy your own style of travel.

Centrally based holidays offer a relaxed way in which to enjoy numerous trails in one area, from the mountains and dramatic coastlines of mainland Europe to remote Atlantic islands.

Classic Routes

We offer a collection of exceptional walking routes and trekking trails that are so well known they are virtually household names and have become established Classic Routes.

Coastal Walks

For many, there’s no better way to enjoy scenic coastlines than to walk along them! Our holidays follow both mountainous and level coastal trails from central bases and point-to-point.

Culinary Walks

For the avid hiker, nothing beats sampling delicious local produce as a reward for several hours’ walking, and we offer a range of holidays which focus on enjoying the region’s food and wines.

Cultural Discovery

We offer a wide variety of walking holidays which feature a chance to enjoy and sample the area’s culture, from visiting hill tribes in Thailand to traditional Berber villages in Morocco.

On our walking holidays we encounter a wide range of fauna and flora, including bears, whales and big cats, as well as wildflower meadows and cherry blossoms, against some spectacular backdrops.

Point to Point

Walking from one set point to another each day, your luggage delivered to your next destination in time for your arrival each evening, is most people’s idea of a classic walking holiday.

Short Breaks

For those who enjoy walking, but are short of time, our short breaks offer a chance to visit some of the world’s most scenic walking regions and explore stunning landscapes and great cities.

Most of our walking holidays involve putting on hiking boots or sturdy shoes. However, some winter landscapes, such as snowy forests or frozen lakes, are best explored by donning snowshoes.

Solo Walking

Enjoy one of our guided group holidays with like-minded travelling companions and benefit from an experienced leader. Or, walk one of our recommended trails which are perfect to explore on your own.
