Today begins by getting the cable car up to Helm to walk along the Carnic Alps Main Ridge. Repeatedly crossing the Italian and Austrian border, past old war bunkers, inviting mountain inns, and summit Monte Elmo for vast views across the Sesto Dolomites.

Follow the Kreuzberg pass, overlooking the impressive Croda Rossa – a group of limestone peaks named after their reddish shade. Journey past rugged limestone cliffs and into gentle alpine meadows filled with luscious plants as you circle back to Sesto.

Today is a real highlight as you witness the infamous Three Peaks that the Dolomites are so well known for. Hike beneath the ridges of Mount Paterno and past old war tunnels, surrounded by extraordinary peaks as you make your way to Landro Valley.

Setting off from Hell Valley, gradually ascend to the summit of Monte Specie via a war path from World War I. Journey through beautiful meadows as you descend into the Prato Piazza, a plateau in the Prags Valley, with views of the surrounding mountains before the walk concludes in the village of Braies.

Visit the 'Pearl of the Dolomites' – an icon of the region due to its crystal-clear waters perfectly reflecting the surrounding mountains. On this circular route to Lake Braies, walk along the shores and into the beautiful Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park. Take the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim or a gentle rowing boat on this idyllic lake.

Hike along a trail through valleys sprinkled with vibrant meadows and alpine forests. Surrounded by mountain peaks, you will descend towards lake Dobbiaco before strolling back to the village for your final night.
