To reach the rock carved city of Petra, you walk 'The Siq' - a narrow gorge, over 1 kilometre in length, flanked on either side by 80 metre high walls of rock. As you approach the end of Siq you are faced with your first glimpse of 'The Treasury', one of the most intricately carved buildings in the hidden city.

On our Bedouin Trail to Petra trek you walk from the Dana Nature Reserve and through the mountains with wonderful desert hamada views, and watch the changing colours as the sun sets. Visit 'Little Petra' and then trek to Petra itself via a novel 'back door' route.

Camping out beneath the stars on both these amazing, but different Jordan treks is a truly memorable experience.
