A walking holiday in Tenerife and La Gomera is an excellent combination, and despite their proximity, the landscape of these Canary Islands are remarkably different, offering a wealth of exciting and varied hikes on both islands.

  • View Spain's highest peak
  • Hike in Garajonay National Park
  • Pleasant year-round climate
  • Optional excursion by 4x4 on La Gomera
  • Bizarre rock formations, desert & stunning coastline

On this hiking holiday, you can explore traditional villages, various national parks and tropical fruit plantations on foot and enjoy views of the dominating volcanic peak of Mount Teide (3,718 metres), the highest point in Spain.

La Gomera is a place of immense natural beauty, with lush green mountains contrasting its arid desert terrain. With its unique forest, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Garajonay National Park is one of La Gomera’s gems. The island’s steep landscapes are covered by an extensive network of waymarked trails, making it a paradise for walkers. This is enhanced by the islands’ mild subtropical climate, which makes them a great year-round destination.
