Day 1: Arrive in Interlaken, the gateway to the Alpine region
Make your own way to your hotel situated in Interlaken, and depending on your time of arrival, enjoy some free time in the town.

Day 2: Walk up to Harder Kulm, the top of Interlaken
Today you walk to the top of Interlaken, Harder Kulm, with spectacular views of the Bernese Oberland massif. Some of the sights you can see include Lake Thun, Lake Brienz, and panoramas of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. For those with a head for heights, the walk to the overhanging Zwei-Seen-Steg (Two Lakes Bridge) is a must.

Day 3: Train to Grindelwald & first hike to Bachalspee
This circular walk follows the path to Bort, passing blossoming alpine meadows and the sharp, jagged peaks of the Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn and Finsteraarhorn. You then return to Grindelwald and on to Wengen by cable car or train.

Day 4: Walk amongst the giant peaks from Mannlichen to Wengen
Today's walk is along a spectacular hiking trail that takes in the three peaks that dominate the region - the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. There's the option to complete the entire walk or hop on the train from Kleine Scheidegg.

Day 5: Hike the iconic Eiger trail
This morning you transfer to Alpiglen, the starting point of the iconic Eiger trail and the walking highlight of the week, as the landscapes unfold around you. There's also the option to take the train to the 'Top of Europe' if you prefer.

Day 6: Hike the Eiger North Face Trail
A delightful walking loop around the Lauterbrunnen Valley providing alternative vantage points of the three giants - Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau, with a quick detour to Sprutz waterfall for those who wish.

Day 7: Mountain View Trail from Murren
Walk the Mountain View Trail from Murren for the last walking day. You pass highland scenery and meadows blooming with alpine flowers before taking the train back to Interlaken for your last night.
