Day 1: Arrive in La Pobla de Segur
Explore the old town of La Pobla de Segur, with highlights being the Old Mill, the Romanesque Shrine of Sant Miquel, and the Torre Mauri Tower.

Day 2: Walk from La Pobla de Segur to Peramea
Today, you depart La Pobla de Segur and follow the old Montsor path leading to Peramea. Enjoy impressive views of the El Montsec mountain range as you navigate the gradually ascending ancient pathways.
Walking distance: 19 kilometres | Ascent: 1,125 metres | Descent: 760 metres

Day 3: Walk from Peramea to Beranui
Meander across this tranquil trail, via the villages of Balestui and Sellui, and gradually ascend towards the Serraspina peak, renowned for its stories of witchcraft and magic. Traverse the beautiful La Vall Fosca Valley, and end up in Beranui.

Day 4: Walk from Beranui to LesEsglésies
Today’s hike offers spectacular vistas of La Vall Fosca. Encounter the jaw-dropping Devil’s Bridge at the bottom of the mountain, and come across the abandoned village of La Bastida. Visit the Chapel of L'Ascensio for a short break whilst taking in phenomenal views.

Day 5: Walk from LesEsglésies to Senterada
Today, you tackle the challenging uphill climb towards the top of the N-260, where you're rewarded with the Haunted House and breathtaking 360° views. Head down the steep descent to finish at Senterada.

Day 6: Reaching the Fifth Lake
On the final day of walking, you hike the Montcortès trail, which eventually reach the Montcortès Lake, also known as the Fifth Lake. Absorb the beauty and peace of this iconic destination, then head back to Lo Pobla de Segur along the historic pathway.

Transfer to El Prat De Llobregat Airport for your flight back home.
Please note: This self-guided trip requires a good level of fitness due to the prolonged ascents of the trails and hours spent walking each day, however a consistent hillwalker should have no problem.
