- Royal Chitwan National Park is famous for its exciting elephant-back safaris and huge variety of wildlife including the Great Indian one-horned Rhino and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger as well as wild boar, monkeys, crocodiles, tigers, leopards, sloth bears and wild bison. Enjoy a traditional dugout canoe ride to view aquatic birds and animals along the riverbanks and take a jungle walk, accompanied by a trained naturalist and tracer. There are opportunities to visit an elephant camp and bath the elephants before returning each night to the atmospheric bar of your lodge or tented camp.
