Walks Worldwide is an independent tour operator and specialist in walking and trekking holidays.

Join us on a classic trekking trip such as Everest Base Camp in Nepal , the Inca Trail in Peru , Toubkal Ascent in Morocco or a walking holiday in the Alps like the Tour du Mont Blanc . Or take up the challenge and climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania .

We offer a wide choice of walks and treks to all the world's great trekking destinations, many of which are unique to Walks Worldwide. One of our most popular walks in 2014 is the Camino de Santiago .

If you're looking for a healthy holiday, there's plenty of choice. You can join a small group trek , be independent and flexible on a self-guided walking holiday , or enjoy a privately guided trek which can also be tailor-made especially for you.

We would like to thank you for your help in organising our holiday. Everything ran like clockwork. The detailed information for the whole trip was excellent.

Albania - Extra departures

The Accursed Mountains and the village of Thethi in Albania

Spaces on our fantastic Accursed Mountain trip sold very quickly in 2013, so we have added extra departures for 2014.

Probably the last great European Adventure to the wild north of friendly Albania, this trip is ideal for the disconcerting traveller in search of new cultural experiences. Refreshingly different from anywhere in Europe, this committed trek leads you into the heart of an unspoiled region where very few tourists venture taking you through beautiful valleys, into buzzing cities and picturesque villages and over mountain meadows.

Tiger Ban Lifted!

Chitwan Tiger, Nepal

Good news this week from our friends in India, as we witnessed their Supreme Court lift its ban on tourism in over 40 government-run tiger reserves. The ban was put in place back in July following complaints and concerns that tourism was contributing negatively on the tiger population. We are now pleased to say that all of our India trips will once again be able to include visits to Ranthambhore National Park, Bandhavgarh National Park, and Kanha National Park to name just a few. Check out the opportunities you have to see tigers with Walks Worldwide here...

It was obvious that Maria had rested up here for a number of days - maybe she was relishing her new found freedom. Around the flattened rest site was a large quantity of dung full of grass. On closer inspection there were two types of dung... Read full article on our blog or see a related youtube clip.
