During this itinerary you’ll get a taste of some of the best trails in Jordan. Spend a day exploring the famous ‘Rose Red City’ of Petra, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, before following the White Dome Trail from Rummana to Dana Village. Spectacular views and natural beauty will greet you every day on this short tour of a spectacular country.

Petra contains hundreds of tombs and dwellings, literally hewn out of the rock face of the mighty cliffs and towering rock walls, a reminder of the one-time wealth of the Nabataeans, Arabs who ruled Transjordan in pre-Roman times. Until the early 1980s, the Bdul tribe (who have lived here for as long as anyone can remember) were living in these cave like dwellings. Petra is now the biggest tourist attraction for Jordan; despite all the visitors, this iconic destination should not be missed.
