Our "Twist" has this trek commencing in the beautiful, verdant Ourika Valley and over the rarely crossed Tizi n' Tacheddirt to reach North Africa's highest permanently inhabited village before ultimately joining the regular trail to the Neltner Refuge beneath Toubkal itself. Here, a rugged, but straightforward trail takes you to the summit of Toubkal for far-reaching and a truly stupendous majestic mountain vista and beyond to the Sahara.

Returning to exotic Marrakech there's time to explore the delights of this vibrant city and go shopping in the bazaars too.
