A trip for railway (and walking) enthusiasts following the Grisons narrow gauge railway through the alpine scenery of the Bernina Massif.
Days 1 and 2.
Fly to Zurich and take the train to Davos. Walk through the beautiful Landwasser gorge admiring the world famous curved viaduct.
Days 3 and 4
Follow the famous Albula line through the narrow gorge to Bergun. A 21km walk leads through the fantastic alpine scenery of the Bever Valley to Samedan.
Days 5 to 8
Walk to the Bernina Pass and follow the rail line to Poschiavo. View the incredible engineering feat of the rail loop viaduct en-route to Bivio. Travel back over the Bernina Pass in one of the panoramic coaches. Fly home from Zurich.
