Self guided walks with luggage transfers in Engadine National Park, Switzerland
Combine the picturesque preserved villages and castles of the Lower Engadine Valley with the 169km of untamed beauty of the Swiss National Park.- Days 1 and 2
- Fly to Zurich and take a train to the old spa town of Scuol. A 20km circular walk takes you through nearby valleys, home to many deer herds.
- Day 3
- Stroll through flower-filled meadows and beautifully preserved villages with the fairy-tale castle of Tarasp as a backdrop. Arrive at Lavin in the National Park.
- Days 4 and 5
- Cross the lake-dotted Macun plateau and climb to 2686 metres before descending to Zernez. A rewarding day of gorges and secluded valleys follows.
- Days 6 to 8.
- Cross the flat-topped Munt La Schera, famed for its wild flowers including Edelweiss. Descend to the vast plains of Jufplaun and the quaint village of Santa Maria. Return to Zurich for your flight home.
