Our exciting gorilla safari extension is now available for anyone travelling with us to Tanzania on the Crater Highlands Trek, Tanzania In Style or Kilimanjaro Summit (or indeed any of our Southern Africa trips). This 7-day trip provides an exciting finale (or start!) to your African experience and the ultimate wildlife experience. With daily departures to suit your main trip (according to availability) it is simple to extend your holiday either pre or post tour. Please note gorilla permits are extremely popular and thus early booking is essential.

Day 1. Fly to Uganda

Fly to Entebbe (via Nairobi). Transfer to Kampala

Days 2 and 3. Mountain Gorilla Tracking

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and your tented camp. The following day you will embark on your gorilla trek. Enjoy a memorable 8 hour hike to find the Mountain Gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. With luck you will spend a full hour with these incredible creatures.

Days 4 and 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer through the beautiful mountain scenery of Little Switzerland to Queen Elizabeth National Park for some forest walks followed by a safari. The next day enjoy an early morning game drive and Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge in search of Red Tail Monkeys, Chimps and Baboons. Finish with a scenic boat cruise.

Days 6 and 7.

Transfer to Kampala and fly overnight to the UK.
