Join us on an adventurous walking holiday in Virachey National Park and trek through semi-evergreen lowlands, bamboo thickets and cloud forest, before spending some time exploring the famous Angkor Temple Complex.

  • Walk off the beaten track
  • Trek through the jungle
  • Stay with local families
  • Sleep in hammocks under the forest canopy
  • Explore the famous Angkor temples

Following changes to the hunting laws, the Ministry of Environment set up trekking opportunities within Virachey National Park, in order to provide additional income to the local villagers and to help protect the forest. Accompanied by an indigenous park ranger, you have the chance to truly immerse yourself in the jungle lifestyle following an uncut path and sleeping under the forest canopy in simple, rustic hammocks.

In contrast to the first half of the trip, you will also have the chance to visit and explore the famous Angkor Temple Complex. You will embark on a full day tour, visiting some of the most famous and beautiful temples with a possible additional visit to Angkor Wat on your final day to experience the majestic sunrise.
