"Our Costa Rica holiday with Walks Worldwide was full of adventure and variety. We would highly recommend this trip if you are looking to experience all of the flora and fauna of this beautiful country." Katherine Pedersen, Tropical Trails
Walking is generally along good tracks and is highly varied, with some more challenging and mountainous terrain, so this trip is best suited to experienced walkers. Much of the trekking is done in the tropical rainforest, which will be hot, humid and potentially muddy, along narrow trails. Accommodation is in simple lodges and a couple of nights in a jungle camp.
The best time of year to visit Costa Rica is from November to April, when the country is at its driest and brightest – although being in a tropical country, you should be prepared for rain at any time of year.
